  1. I've been long time Schwans customer since early 80's. Was always first to recommend. Until recently really enjoyed the pot pies, had been quite comparable to Mrs. Smiths. Have noted the ingredients in Schwans pies shrinking in volume last few years. Cooked one today to split with spouse and one half was a literally empty hollow shell, 3 tiny pieces of chicken, really? Is the bottom line that critical that you lose a customer of over 30 years?

  2. We have been ordering and enjoying Schwan food for a lot of years. We like the convenience of home delivery. Since we are empty nesters now, we don't order the quantity we used to, but we do still order from our rep. When he came to the door last week, I got a container of ice cream for $5.99, the bill came to over $10.00! The delivery charge was $3.99, the container was smaller than before. I nearly fell over. This is a ridiculous amount for delivery charges for one container of ice cream. He did say that if we'd ordered it "on line" the delivery charge was only $1.75. Most of what we order now is impulse and I don't order anything very often "on line". You have lost a good customer of over 20 years because of your gouging for delivery. Good bye, Schwan.

Me and my family have ordered off of Schwan's for many years (about 20) but I haven't ordered within the past couple of years and just took up service again in my new home, now I am having trouble getting someone to deliver to me. They know we are over the road truck drivers gone out 2-3 times a week and home only a couple days but still insist on attempting to deliver when we are not home, I specifically told them what days would be good that I would be home, for some reason they cannot comprehend that and several message in chat said they would send an urgent message to my local district manager in my area and he would reach out to me well I ordered the beginning of November 2016 it is now December 5, 2016 still have not heard from manager but they tried to deliver December 2, 2016 and we weren't home. The district manager in my area evidentally does not care about his customers or he would accommodate when they can accept their delivers. This aggravates me and frustrates me that Shwan's does not take pride in their customers!! Another customer lost here..........Bye bye Schawn's!

  4. This will be my last time ever shopping with this company. I placed an order on 3/06/2017 and chose delivery to be 3/09/17 between 2-5pm. I waited at home all evening for my order to arrive and nothing so I called customer service and was told the driver for my area had called in sick so there was no one in the area to deliver and he didn't know when I could expect my order. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional for them not to contact customers to let them know their food order will not arrive as they expect it to. I will never shop here again nor will I refer anyone else to this company.

    1. I ran into the same problem today. No show delivery, no phone call and yet customer service could not tell me when I could be expecting my order or why the reason was for the no show..really?

I have seen what you are lusing and I strongly feel that a dual cng system would be best for your operation. Who can I speak with, t explain the benefits of what I have to offer.   7. Poor communication. Schwams.com allowed me to change the day of my delivery from the 26th to the 29th and sent me a confirmation by email.A few days later I received an email changing it back to the 26th. I then phoned your customer service dept. and they graciously changed it to the 29th again and sent a confirming email. I am writing this on the 26th. Your delivery driver came to my home this morning with my order.I told him I do not get a paycheck until tomorrow the 27th. All is OK though as your driver was happy to come back on the 29th. The confusion caused by Schwan's inability to keep customer delivery dates straight causes minor problems in my life that I just don't need.

  8. I've only been to Schwans customer for about 3 months the food was okay A little overpriced some of the items I didn't like it all. But today I decided I will never order from Schwans again. I had an order my time block was between 2 and 5 p.m. I waited in planned my day around this time block. Nobody ever showed up I called in several times between 2 and 5 they kept on telling me he's running late he's running late the last time I called was a quarter after 5 and they told me more sorry there's nobody delivering to your area today thanks a lot Schwans you just lost my business permanently

  9. Very disappointed,I've been a customer for years. This week I was double charged. on my checking account. My order was over a hundred dollars. Not only was I change twice this cause an overdraft on my account.I am a widow on a tight budget. I cryed because my grandson's birthday is tomorrow and I am unable to get a present because these charges effected my savings account to. I am out of $60 in fees.

  10. I have never in my life dealt with such inept people. First and last order after this fiasco! UN freaking believable. I was charged $101 which was not at all what I was to be charged and per the emails I had I was forced to prepay for freezer bags that I did not order at all. I was told oh we have to charge but we will automatically refund. Nope. Then I call and it is the blame game and told oh I can't refund call this bogus number. You have lost me as a customer.

  11. I have been a loyal customer of Schwan's for MANY years. Last month, I waited for SEVEN AND A HALF hours, on 2 different days, for an order that NEVER showed up! Schwan's basically IGNORED all my emails and phone calls! NOTHIN, AT ALL was done about this situation! I would have been satisfied with $10 in Schwan's POINTS, but NOOO, Schwan's instead decided to say "F**K YOU!" to a loyal customer!

I had called a week in advance for a order to be delivered to me yesterday 10/15/2018 my time frame was between 11:00 and 2:00pm the driver not only didn't show up during that time but didn't show at all so very unprofessional,I then was on the phone with schwan's throughout the day and early evening trying to find out why, the first person told me its on the truck,second person says he is running 20 minutes behind but should be there shortly didn't happen back on the phone again they sent an issue log to the depot guy called I missed it called back he never returned the call called again this am and woman told me she sent a report log over the guy still hasn't returned last nights call or this mornings schwan's this doesn't look good to your customer.customers why ask us what time we'd like if your driver isn't going to show up at all or not follow the manifest for which I was told I was next idiot never came poor company service and at the very least that driver should face some type of punishment he or she was negligent,and I remain very upset I had stopped ordering at my last place as the driver was a moody cuss with no personality hello it is a people job your drivers should have a personality and make the customer feel like they like there job not just showing up,now I start up again and schwan's screws up by not showing up kinda messed up.

  14. They told me and my family that we could starve and my son is autistic and then said here is 100 points wat is that gonna do..then said we can give 50% off but in reality it's only 50$ off.. this place sucks and I'm gonna tell everyone

  15. this company totally sucks put in an order and after the driver left found he had shorted us on an item was told by schwans that it would be delivered on our next delivery, driver shows up empty handed but knew he was suppose to bring the item makes every excuse in the book why he can't take the item off his truck proceeds to tell me he would drop it off on that Friday guy never shows up and hasn't been back since, after a month of phone calls to schwans and being told numerous times have to wait 2 days to get phone call from customer service every time we have called there finally told we would be reimbursed our money well two weeks later still don't have our money either! now to top it off the guy I just talked to has the balls to tell me I am not getting the run around!!!seriously never again schwans!!!!

  16. Going through bull....! Placed my order,no show on scheduled time twice! Postponed twice!just got postponed again.been 2 weeks. Where's my f'ing order.i cancelled,absolutely ridiculous. I've contacted bbb,and write up on Yelp. They should be closed down. I was really amazed how many complaints there are,should've done my homework. Schwans, you suck!!!

  17. ordered and paid on Aug 5th 2020. Today is the 9th of Sept. This is the 3rd time they were suppose to deliver my order, and for the 3rd time, no one showed. STILL, have not gotten my money back. You use to be such a good company, what the hell happened to you!!!
